It was a very busy day for us today so we just went to East Side Mario’s and had a quick and easy dinner. Thank god for restaurants!
Got a Chuckit today. Such an awesome invention. It tires out the dog, is fun to use, and one doesn’t even have to touch the goober ball. Best money ever spent.
I made it into the Tera beta. Looking forward to giving this a try. According to the previews I’ve read, this has a lot of potential. Of course the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. I wonder how much playtime I will get in.
I bought the dog a Kong chewing that is meant to keep some treats inside and have the dog work to get them out. It’s crazy to see the amount of entertainment the dog is getting out of it. But at the current chewing rate, this toy is not going to last long. But at least it keeps the dog entertained without my involvement.
Not a great picture today but the new indoor hockey league started with a very late game. It was fun to go and get going again except coming home all wired up after bedtime. We didn’t even go for drinks. Too bad my stick wasn’t lucky and had me score a goal. We did win though.
I had the City come out today to make sure the water shutoff valve on the street is working. Luckily, after some cleaning, they got it working and it’s ready to go for the plumbing work tomorrow.
My wife made a vegan lemon coconut cake. I am not a big fan of vegan dishes but this cake is really good. I wonder how much sugar is in it.
When repairs go wrong… the toilet started leaking and because the shutoff valve for the toilet is broken, I had a hard time fixing it. So I decided to give up and let the plumber fix it before I set the house under water.
Life is full of coincidences… we drove to dinner tonight to meet some friends and when I parked in the parking lot, the odometer had just flipped to an even 6000 km. What a coincidence…
Another busy day so I didn’t have much time taking a good picture. When I finally took it, the battery on the Blackberry was almost empty and so the flash didn’t work. Anyway, today is another dog picture because we finally brought her home today.
